PASSIVE 8SR | All Purpose Concrete Remover

PASSIVE 8SR is a unique blend of acids in a stabilized solution, specially formulated to assist in the removal of calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2, or “fresh cement.” This product is a blend of passified acids, surfactants, and corrosion inhibitors. The special passified acids are as effective in removing concrete as are their unpassified counterparts, such as Muriatic Acid, but they produce less hazardous fumes and are substantially less hazardous to users. The high foaming surfactant blend provides for effective cleaning, as they are highly effective emulsifiers for oils and greases and they act as indicators as long as foam is being generated, that the acid is working. Finally, the special blend of corrosion inhibitors, in conjunction with the passified acids, prevent acid attack on ferrous metal surfaces and help prevent flash re-rusting once the acid solution is rinsed off.

Use PASSIVE 8SR for the effective removal of fresh concrete (1-2 days old) from all types of equipment, including cement trucks, mixing equipment, ships, barges, portable containers, etc.

Apply PASSIVE 8SR undiluted for the best results. Can be used as-is, or diluted up to 8:1 with water for very light film removal, or daily maintenance where heavy build-ups do not have time to cure completely.
