For process applications, the operator must determine the concentration of FOAM-X based on the need at the time it is to be dispensed. One to 100 parts of active silicone per million parts foamer are sufficient to eliminate most foams. Begin trials with 100 ppm active silicone, as follows:
13.34 oz in 1000 gal water <> 2.6 gal in 2,500 gal. Both solutions = 100 ppm
In carpet extractors, steam cleaners, and automatic floor scrubbers, use 1 oz. per 10 gallons of expected recovery water. Begin by pre-diluting the Foam-X into a quart of water, and place it in the recovery tank.
