By the time hurricane season starts again, you may discover that your portable generator does not run properly or won’t start at all.  How frustrating is that?  If the unit was not properly prepped for storage and sat up for a long period of time, the residual gas will turn into a varnish-like substance and damage your unit.  To learn how & why you should prep your unit click here or  to prevent this from happening, John-Henry can perform:

(E.S.P.) SERVICE for Small Engines & Portable Generators. Includes:

  • Inspect Air Filter & Spark Plug*
  • Run engine/generator to determine that they are in good working order**
  • Visual inspection of all fuel lines
  • Drain fuel from tank, fuel lines, and carburetor
  • High-pressure air dry tank, fuel lines, and carburetor
  • Change engine oil
This ESP Service is $99.95 with the following exceptions:

*Additional cost to replace air filter and/or spark plug
**If unit is not in good working order, the ESP service cannot be completed.  Customer will not be charged the ESP fee and will be given options to repair or not.
***Twin-piston engines slightly more
